Attorney Profiles
The Salt Lake City law firm of Richards & Godfrey, P.C. was founded in January of 2009 by Kevin G. Richards and Ted K. Godfrey, two attorneys with over 44 years of combined legal experience in the areas of consumer bankruptcy, including both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13; divorce, adoptions, and family law; immigration matters; and criminal defense, including DUI, drug issues, domestic violence, and all felonies and misdemeanors. We also provide comprehensive estate planning services for clients with all sizes of estates.
In addition, the Salt Lake City law firm assists businesses and business owners in a wide variety of matters, including formation of entities such as corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies; workers' compensation and social security disability; real estate and commercial litigation; and Salt Lake City Chapter 11 business bankruptcies.
One of the features which set our Salt Lake City law firm apart is a distinct multicultural feel, generated by the combination of American and Latin American attorneys and staff in our office. With a paralegal from Peru on board, we were a natural selection as the preferred legal services provider for the Peruvian Consulate in Utah. More importantly, this perspective gives us a greater understanding of our clients' needs in immigration-related matters.
